About this work

Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin photographed by Barrie Wentzell in 1970, in colour.

1970 was the year of Led Zeppelin III, the record on which the band turned from amplified blues towards the acoustic and folk material written at Bron-Yr-Aur in Wales. Colour film was used sparingly by music photographers of the period, which makes frames such as this one comparatively scarce within Wentzell's archive.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Worldwide insured delivery available.
