About this work

Made during the all-night shoot of the video for "Ghost Town" in 1981, directed by Barney Bubbles. The band were driven in a vintage car through a deserted City of London and tunnels closed to traffic for the shoot.

At dawn, on the Thames east of Tower Bridge, the band threw stones into the river. "This photo really is the last one we took of the original line up." The Specials split shortly after the single.
