About this work

The Beatles photographed by Barrie Wentzell outside Brian Epstein's home in Belgravia, London, in May 1967, during the launch party for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Epstein hosted the press at his house in Chapel Street to introduce the album that would redefine what a long-playing record could be. The four musicians had by then stopped touring, and gatherings such as this one were among the few occasions on which photographers saw all of them together.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
