About this work

Syd Barrett photographed by Barrie Wentzell in 1971.

Barrett had founded Pink Floyd, named the band and written most of its first album before leaving in 1968. By 1971 he had released two solo records and was withdrawing from public life almost entirely; photographs from these years are correspondingly rare, and few photographers were granted the chance to make them.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
