About this work

Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones photographed by Barrie Wentzell in 1971.

1971 was the year of Sticky Fingers and of the band's departure from Britain for the south of France, where they would record Exile on Main St. Wentzell had photographed Jagger since the middle of the previous decade, and this frame catches him at the point where the group settled into the form it would keep.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
