About this work

Ginger Baker of Cream photographed in England by Barrie Wentzell.

Cream lasted barely two years but reshaped what a rock group could be, and Baker's playing — drawn as much from jazz as from blues — was central to it. Wentzell photographed the band during their brief span, when their concerts had become extended improvisations quite unlike anything in British popular music before them.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
