About this work

Eric Clapton photographed by Barrie Wentzell at Olympic Studios in Barnes, London, in 1969, during sessions with George Harrison.

Olympic was among the busiest studios in Britain, and 1969 found Clapton between projects — Cream had dissolved the previous year, Blind Faith would form and disband within months, and he was increasingly to be found playing on other people's records rather than leading his own.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
