“This was taken at a photo-call in the garden at the back of the Ritz Hotel. I can’t remember why but half of Fleet Street’s photographers were there. One of them said ‘alright lads put your telephotos on’ and they all did and stood well back. I prefer to get in close and I didn’t move with the others.” — David Corio
