About this work

Bob Dylan photographed by Barrie Wentzell in 1965, during the British tour filmed for Dont Look Back.

Wentzell encountered Dylan at the BBC canteen while working with The Pretty Things and asked whether he might photograph him. He has described the reply as characteristically oblique and entirely willing. The tour was Dylan's last as a solo acoustic performer; within months he would be touring with a band and dividing his audience.

Archival pigment print. Limited edition of 50. Hand-signed and numbered by Barrie Wentzell. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
