Mark Weiss

Mark Weiss (New Jersey, b. 1960) is an American photographer whose work provides an intimate visual record of the rise of rock and heavy metal during the 1980s. Beginning his career as a teenager photographing concerts in the New York area, he quickly established himself as one of the most trusted photographers within the music industry.

As a staff photographer for Circus Magazine, Weiss gained unprecedented access to the artists, tours, and backstage environments that defined a generation.
