About this work

The colour version of Michael Cooper's celebrated 'Eleven Hands' image, photographed in New York in 1967 during the Their Satanic Majesties Request sessions, the Rolling Stones reduced to a bold tangle of raised hands against a saturated ground. Photograph by Michael Cooper.

Following Cooper's death in 1973, his archive remained largely unprinted, consisting primarily of original transparencies and negatives from the mid-1960s onward. No signed vintage prints of this work exist.

This photograph is a museum-quality archival pigment print, reproduced directly from the original transparency. Estate stamped, individually numbered, and issued in a limited edition by the Michael Cooper Estate. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
