Richard E. Aaron (1949–2016) spent more than two decades photographing rock, soul and pop on stage and behind the scenes. His portrait of Peter Frampton became the cover of Frampton Comes Alive!, one of the best-selling live albums of all time.

Richard E. Aaron's archive is remarkable not only for individual iconic images, but for its scale.
