Southside Johnny in New Jersey, 1975, as the Asbury Jukes were becoming the house band of the Jersey Shore sound.

Richard E. Aaron (1949–2016) spent more than two decades photographing rock, soul and pop on stage and behind the scenes. His portrait of Peter Frampton became the cover of Frampton Comes Alive!, one of the best-selling live albums of all time.
