Sid Vicious in Texas, January 1978, during the Sex Pistols' only American tour, days before the band broke up in San Francisco.

Richard E. Aaron (1949–2016) spent more than two decades photographing rock, soul and pop on stage and behind the scenes. His portrait of Peter Frampton became the cover of Frampton Comes Alive!, one of the best-selling live albums of all time.
