Original artwork created by Mick Rock in London in 1974, comprising four unique vintage C-prints in Polaroid format mounted on original hard board prepared by the artist.
Bringing together four individual photographic studies of Queen, the work reflects Mick Rock’s close collaboration with the band during a formative period in its history. The original board serves as an integral part of the artwork, preserving the photographer’s intended presentation and arrangement of the images.
Each of the four photographs is unique. This work was assembled by Mick Rock as a single artwork and no equivalent example is known to exist.
