Queen photographed by Mick Rock in London during the band’s early years, when Rock produced the images that helped shape their visual identity.
Mick Rock — “the man who shot the seventies” — held rare, sustained access to the era’s defining artists, from David Bowie and Lou Reed to Iggy Pop and Queen. This photograph belongs to a group of unique vintage prints from his personal archive held by The Music Photo Gallery.
This is a unique set of four vintage C-prints (chromogenic color prints) in Polaroid size, mounted together on cardboard and stamped by the photographer on the verso. No other copy of this set is known.
