Pete Townshend of The Who, photographed by Martyn Goddard during a day-long Soho assignment for the Sunday Telegraph Magazine around 1980, a couple of days spent walking London together, visiting recording studios, bookshops and the odd pub.

Away from the windmilling showman of the stage, Goddard found Townshend thoughtful and still, a quiet portrait of one of rock's great restless minds.

Produced as museum-quality archival pigment prints from the original transparency, each print is individually signed by Martyn Goddard and released in strictly limited editions.
