Mick Jagger throwing water during a performance in 1976, photographed by Gijsbert Hanekroot.

Jagger stretches upward with a container as water bursts above his head and scatters through the stage light. His body forms a strong diagonal across the vertical frame, with the bright splash suspended against black space. Hanekroot fixes the gesture at its most legible instant, turning a fleeting performance action into a sharply defined pattern of arm, torso, and spray.
