Genesis, Tour Coach, 1980

Genesis on the move, photographed by Martyn Goddard around a fold-down table on the tour coach, Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks passing headphones and a cassette between them as the countryside blurs past the window.

By 1980 the trio had become one of Britain's biggest bands, and Goddard's editorial eye caught them in an ordinary, companionable moment far from the stage.
