Freddie Mercury in the celebrated pleated ‘wing’ costume by Zandra Rhodes, London, 1974 — one of Mick Rock's signature portraits of the singer in full theatrical flight.

This is a unique late print — a lifetime print drawn from Mick Rock's own archive and personal collection. It is signed by the photographer on the front and, most unusually, inscribed in his own hand along the lower-left margin — “FREDDIE ZANDRA RHODES COSTUME, LONDON 1974” — a gesture Rock almost never made. No other example is known, making it a genuine one-of-a-kind.
