Freddie Mercury photographed by Mick Rock in London, 1973 — a quiet, luminous studio portrait from the very start of their collaboration.

This is a unique late print — a lifetime print drawn from Mick Rock's own archive and personal collection. It is signed by the photographer on the front and, most unusually, inscribed in his own hand along the lower-left margin — “FREDDIE MERCURY, LONDON 1973” — a gesture Rock almost never made. No other example is known, making it a genuine one-of-a-kind.
