About this work

Freddie Mercury of Queen seen from behind in 1986, lifting a jeweled crown above his head with both hands while an ermine-trimmed red robe hangs from one shoulder. Lynn Goldsmith frames him against a black background, so the picture works without a face: the crown, the raised arms and the striped wristband carry it.

This museum-quality archival pigment print is produced to order directly by the artist. Each photograph is hand-signed and individually numbered and belongs to a single edition of only 20 works total across all sizes. Available sizes range from 11 × 14 to 40 × 60 inches, with larger formats available by request. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by The Music Photo Gallery. Please allow 2–4 weeks for production and delivery.

Pricing begins at $2,000 and varies according to size and availability within the edition. Please contact us for the current price and include your preferred size with your inquiry.
