Debbie Harry on the roof of the Record Plant studios in New York City, photographed by Martyn Goddard in June 1978 during a break from recording Parallel Lines. Arms folded, sunglasses pushed up into her hair, she looks away from the camera against brick and Manhattan high-rises.

Goddard returned to New York that June to document the sessions with producer Mike Chapman, which were often tense. Away from the control room, the roof gave him the chance for a quieter portrait.

Produced as museum-quality archival pigment prints from the original film, each print is individually signed by Martyn Goddard and released in strictly limited editions.
