About the Photograph

Jérôme Brunet photographed blues legend B.B. King performing live at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, on April 16, 2009. The photograph won the 2010 PDN Ultimate Music Moment award and a Gold Award in the 2012 Graphis Photography Annual. It also appears on the cover of Brunet’s acclaimed book, Into the Light.
