Queen

Few bands understood the power of image as profoundly as Queen. From the theatrical darkness of the early 1970s to the scale of the arena years, their visual identity was never secondary to the music — it was part of the work itself.

This collection brings together photographs of Queen and Freddie Mercury by Mick Rock, Ian Dickson, Patrick Harbron, Richard Aaron, and Mark Weiss. At its core are Mick Rock’s defining images from 1973–1974: the Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack sessions, early portraits, studio moments, and photographs that helped shape the band’s visual mythology.

Alongside these works, later live photographs trace the evolution of Queen from an ambitious London band into one of the most commanding stage acts in rock history. Together, the collection offers a focused view of image-making, performance, and identity at the heart of Queen’s legacy.

Each work is produced from the original negative or color transparency, hand-signed by the photographer or estate, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and secure digital provenance record.
