Patrick Harbron
Patrick Harbron is a renowned Canadian photographer who began his career capturing the greatest legends of rock and roll in Toronto. His iconic images of artists like Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, U2, Blondie, Bob Marley, and many more have appeared on album covers, DVDs, books, magazines, and promotional materials. His work is also featured in Taschen’s 1000 Record Covers and he has received two JUNO Award nominations for album photography.
Harbron has collaborated with institutions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Kennedy Center Honors. His large-format photographs of Blondie, U2, Billy Idol, and others now hang on the walls of Toronto’s legendary El Mocambo Club, where many of them were originally shot.
He has received numerous international photography awards, including the International Photography Awards and Hasselblad Masters. Since 2003, he has been part of the faculty at the International Center of Photography in New York. As a speaker and author, he has presented digital programs such as An Evening of Rock and Roll and Icons and Influence – A Rock and Roll Photographic History, offering visual journeys through the golden years of rock from 1976 to 1992.
In recent years, Harbron has also photographed major television productions such as Only Murders In The Building, Billions, VEEP, Vinyl, Mindhunter, and The Good Fight, working with clients including HBO, Netflix, Hulu, ABC, FX, and CBS.
