Brian Aris is a British photographer whose career began in photojournalism, covering the Troubles in Northern Ireland and the war in Vietnam before he turned to portraiture in London. He went on to photograph some of the most recognizable names in music, including Blondie, Sting, Duran Duran and David Bowie, whom he photographed from 1985 to 2000. He was also the official photographer for Bob Geldof's Band Aid. His archive is among the largest held by a single photographer in the UK. This collection presents a selection of his work.
